Individual Therapy and Counseling
You often seek out therapy when you are feeling vulnerable, in pain and uncertain about what to do next to fix the problem. Maybe you are looking for growth and deeper understanding of who you are and who you want to be. I know that going to therapy can often be a difficult step to take for many reasons and I’m glad you are here.
There are so many preconceived notions, worries and fears surrounding psychology and therapy. My hope is to help break some through some of the common stereotypes, fears, and stigmas by offering a safe and accepting environment where we can work together to meet your goals, regardless of what they may be. Sometimes, you just need a supportive ear who will not judge. That is exactly what I can provide.
I believe that, if possible, working with a therapist should not just be in the moment of crisis or the breaking point of a relationship but in those times of transition when you might need some extra support and perspective. Similar to how you take your car for tune-ups and maintenance, you can give yourself the same courtesy to check-in and take some time for reflection and focus. It’s time to invest in yourself and your journey.
As a therapist I work to foster a safe and accepting environment. I believe you are the expert on your life and I want to collaborate with you to help you discover how to be the best version of yourself and achieve healthy relationships in your life. My approach is genuine, warm, supportive and collaborative.
I’d love to talk more to hear about what is currently going on in your life and how therapy could support you. I’m happy to offer a free 20 minute phone consultation and answer any questions you may have. Even if we decide we are not the right fit for one another, I will gladly provide other referrals based on your needs.
