Teens and Families
Creating a family can include many different chapters of life, full of various developmental milestones, relationships and transitions and it often looks different for each family. It can be overwhelming and wonderful all at the same time.
The teen years bring a major life transition for both the adolescent as an individual as well as the entire family. There is a lot going on for each person in the family and so many areas can come up including self esteem, anxiety, anger, loneliness and generally figuring out how to cope in this new stage of life.
Working together, we will identify the stressors and patterns that are creating tension and develop strategies to create lasting change for both the individuals and the family as a whole.
